Job: Agency Marketing Rep

We are currently seeking an Agency Marketing Representative to serve as the primary point of contact with agents/brokers/producers and focus on building and maintaining relationships within the state of Arizona.

As Agency Marketing Representative you will:

• Provide consultative sales and marketing services relating to Workers’ Compensation Insurance and establish strong agency channel connections.
• Assist with new agency recruitment,inlcuding agency training, coordinating meetings, and working with the agency to ensure profitable premium growth.
• Identify, plan, develop and manage a book of profitable and diversified insurance lines within the assigned territory.
• Represent other commercial property and casualty products and services to businesses using consultative selling techniques.

Required skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in business business administration, marketing or other related field of study from and accredited college or university and through 5 or more years of insurance & marketing experience, preferably with emphasis on Worker’s Compensation; experience in P&C insurance or other lines of insurance in an agency is preferred. A graduate level study in the previously stated areas is a plus.
• P & C Insurance license required.
• CPCU, CIC or ARM desired.
• Prior successful sales experience to generate sales and retain satisfied customers with the ability to provide references and maintain effective client relationships.
• Prior successful experience working in an outside role consistently making appointments to build a territory.
• Senior level communication skills both verbally and in written form to write business reports & proposals and/or make formal presentations of research findings and conclusions to Managers and/or the Executive Staff.
• Senior level persuasion & negotiation skills to effectively close the sales contract.
• Senior level interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
• Effective organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to senior level analytical skills to understand complex coverage details and underwriting guidelines.
• Possession of a valid Class D Arizona State driver’s license.
