Jobing Description
Objective: under limited supervision will direct and oversee all banquet functions assuring high quality service to meet and exceed all department clients requirements, with goals of customer satisfaction and profitable net revenue. Responsible in ensuring return business, and work on special projects or assignments as needed. Will assist in overseeing restaurant operations as needed for, specialty theme night buffets and ala-carte service in general. Responsible for cash bars , inventory of, and breakdown.
Duties and responsibilities; * Schedules and coordinates planning for all banquet events. Responsibilities include timely setup of banquet room, BEO line-up, distribution of to service staff, description of time line of event, breakdown and clean-up. * Direct and oversee set-up and take down of all tables, chairs, linen and tableware. Assist in any and all audio-visual set up as a service to client. Open line of communication with F&B Director regarding all catered events. * Direct line of communications with client and or bridal party, to ensure the success of the function. Assure client satisfaction with all aspects of their event * Building strong relations with businesses and groups outside CB. Assisting in marketing of our facility through information packets, business flyers and client referral. * Working with confidential and sensitive information and materials. * Resolve confrontations and report to F&B Director as appropriate. * Perform various tasks and activities as required. * Knowledge and ability to administer AZ state liquor license laws and regulations. Specific Job Tasks: • Oversee production and service of all food and beverage pertaining to all catered and resident events. • Assist in training and development of all banquet service personal. • Responsible for log in of banquet events into Jonas software system. • Responsible for all porta-bar inventories, liquor distribution and bar sales. • Displaying an open line of communication with the back of the house to ensure timely service of all food products. • Responsible of inspecting all side work, kitchen and linen room areas, along with arming of banquet facility. • Job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform.
